We’re looking for members to join our Chamber Council

The Cumbria Chamber of Commerce Council meets once per quarter and has the remit of acting on behalf of the members to appoint (and remove) the Chamber’s non-executive Directors.

The Council also acts as key policy group discussing the issues, challenges and opportunities of Cumbrian businesses and representing the interests of the members and of the wider businesses community. Details of all current Chamber Council members are available here: https://www.cumbriachamber.co.uk/team)

Given the Chamber’s role in influencing policy, it’s particularly important that the Chamber Council represents a good range of business sectors, geography and size.

As part of this we’re keen to recruit additional Council members, and would particularly welcome interest from the energy, food & drink, green/low carbon, health & social care, land-based, retail and training & education sectors, although we’re happy to hear from anyone with an interest.

Anyone interested should get in touch via suzanne@cumbriachamber.co.uk
