Children’s Society’s #LookCloser campaign

Young people are being exploited and are losing hope, but it’s not always obvious. #LookCloser is a partnership campaign between The Children’s Society, the National County Lines Co-ordination Centre and the British Transport Police aiming to raise awareness of child exploitation and abuse, with a particular focus on public spaces. The campaign encourages everyone to learn the signs of child exploitation and how to report it.

The campaign also seeks to challenge stereotypes of victimhood, highlighting that child exploitation can happen anywhere, and any young person can be a victim. The campaign is focusing on public spaces where exploitation may be most visible to the public such as supermarkets, transport and banks and online environments.
