Main responsibilities include,
Being the front desk receptionist meeting and greeting visitors.
Taking in and checking off deliveries of new stock, labelling, barcoding, and displaying. Stock control and new orders. Help with office duties and basic bookkeeping.
Dealing with customers, selling and advising, both in the shop and telephone
Taking payments from customers in person and telephone, handling cash and cashing up.
Answering telephone calls.
Packing up stock for posting.
Ideally we would like to take on a candidate who has knowledge of, or is willing to learn the Epos system we use and input stock onto the website using the back office.
The main requirements are,
An interest in homewares/gifts/art/antiques and stylish goods, with a good eye for display and a creative flair.
Good personal skills, and interest in people.
Good numeracy, literacy and computer skills and a desire to learn new skills.

28 hours. 4 x 7 hour days, to include some weekend work.
