Trainee – Logistics Operative
Role Outline
This role will involve the trainee developing practical skills in supporting the receipt of goods booking in and packing of products. The trainee will be supported by work ready training as part of the Kick Start programme provided by Inspira and McMenon.

Key Responsibilities
• Working Safely in the workplace.
• Booking in materials / checking items against specifications.
• Interacting with other team members to ensure they have the correct materials.
• Packing products into shipping containers.

Essential skills and requirements:

• Practical interest Logistics
• Good attention to detail and able to work as a team player, performing to a high standard.
• Good IT Skills

Working pattern:
25 hours. Monday / Tuesday
13 hours
08.00- 12.00 – 4 hours
12.30-15.00 – 2.5 hours

30 minutes un paid lunch

Wednesday / Thursday 12 hours
08.00- 12.00 – 4 hours
12.30 – 14.30 – 2.0 hours

30 minutes un paid lunch

Hourly rate of pay:
National Minimum Wage
