This role is to be fulfilled within our outside catering production kitchen, working with the Operations Manager and his team.
There will be a variety of roles within an event catering kitchen. These will include, but not be limited to, assisting with the preparation of event catering food, general hygiene and good health practices, receiving, checking and ensuring the correct storge of deliveries, washing pots and event crockery post event, correct stock rotation and daily kitchen due diligence.
There may also be requirements to assist out on events, such as cooking, serving, and clearing of event foods.
Essential skills and requirements:
Good oral communication skills.
Level 2 Hygiene Certificate in Catering
Since the position is in events it will be dependant on the events booked. Unlikely to be Monday’s but likely to include weekends and bank holidays.
There will be an average of 25 hours per week.
