British Chambers of Commerce Global Annual Conference 2023

The British Chambers of Commerce Global Annual Conference is one of the most important events in the business calendar, each year bringing together business leaders, policy experts, media and government representatives from across the UK, and the globe, to discuss the opportunities for growth to help local communities thrive.

Representatives from Cumbria Chamber of Commerce will be attending the conference which takes place on Wednesday 17th May at the QEII Centre, London.

Throughout the day, delegates will hear from key senior politicians and other notable public figures about their plans for growth. The conference will revolve around four distinct breakout sessions that foster stimulating discussions among peers in the Chamber Network. The four sessions include:

  • Green Innovation
  • Growth and Local Thriving Communities
  • Trade

Presented by host Ayesha Hazarika MBE, speakers at this year’s conference include:

  • Sir Keir Starmer MP, Leader of the Opposition;
  • Andrew Bailey, Governor of the Bank of England;
  • Baroness Martha Lane Fox CBE, BCC President;
  • Linzi Boyd, Global speaker and serial entrepreneur; and a
