Cumbria Chamber hosts Directors Club dinner at Lakes Distillery
Directors club members from across Cumbria joined together for another instalment of Monday Night Business Talks.
After welcome drinks, guests were treated to a tour of the distillery and a chance to see how Lakes Distillery makes its award-winning gin and whisky.
Then it was back to the restaurant for a three course meal followed by a series of presentations from Directors Club sponsors Rachel Bell Wealth Management, Muckle LLP and for the first time, RfM Accountants.
The presentations centred around the theme of the evening: ‘Looking forward to the future, secrets of successful next steps’, with discussions on: sales and disposals; mergers and acquisitions; future planning; transferral of shares; pensions and other matters related to succession planning.
A constructive and entertaining evening, the event was enjoyed by all in attendance. Members of the Directors Club can now look forward to the next experience to be announced in the coming months.
