North West-based Pilot Group has announced that it will give away a free Energy Management System (EMS) worth up to £15,000 to a North West SME, helping them to tackle the upcoming and unprecedented rising energy bills.

The EMS is retrofitted to existing heating systems, typically in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, connecting to items such as warm air blowers, plaque heaters and radiant tubes.  With its accurate sensors, weather compensation, self-learning function and smart algorithms it reduces gas consumption by an average of 40%.

Speaking about why Pilot Group are offering a system up for free, Head of Sales, Shayne Wilson, said:

“The current state of the energy market has put additional financial pressures on businesses at an already tough time. We are a proud North West based business and wouldn’t want to see an SME struggling that we could have helped through our system, so we decided to give one away completely free of charge, from the equipment through to the installation.”
