Over the last 7 years Cumbria Business Growth Hub has supported more than 7,200 businesses to create or safeguard around 7,000 and create in the region of £300m additional GVA.

With the extension of a number of projects sitting within the Growth hub we have some great opportunities coming up to be part of that continuing impact, working as part of an vibrant, professional team – helping people throughout the county to start new businesses successfully and helping existing businesses to enhance their productivity and competitiveness and grow.

Assistant Project Manager (Project Facilitator)

We have an immediate opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager (Project Facilitator) to work on our ERDF Business Start-Up Support project (BSUS) and DWP New Enterprise Allowance start-up scheme.

These projects support people to explore starting up in business and get started, and work with young businesses in their early years of trading.

They offer a mix of support including advice, workshops, training, events and funding. This is a great opportunity to use your project facilitation skills and develop your career in project management, with real job satisfaction and the opportunity to progress to a full project management role.
