Job Description
Long Valley Yurts is one of the longest established and largest glamping companies in the UK. They have a number of locations throughout Lake District and Peak District National parks.
They currently have a vacancy and are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our small but expanding team. We currently have a vacancy for a new member of the operations team. The successful candidate will support the existing operations manager in the day to day running of Long Valley Yurts. This will include, but is not limited to;

• Information capture on new products relating to the business
• Researching new processes relevant to the business
• Liaising with suppliers to the business
• Workshop maintenance and development
• Taking down and storing yurts and equipment
• Repairs and maintenance of yurts and equipment
• Setting up yurts and replacing equipment
• Site visits to partners
• Safety checks on yurts and equipment.
• Supporting the development of new business streams.
• Performing any delegated tasks
• Performing within Health and Safety regulations

The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their approach to work and be happy working as part of a small team. As we are a small team our work can change. No two days are the same. The work will be balanced with workshop tasks, working on anyone of our locations (in all weathers) or even based at our offices in Kendal, Cumbria. The candidate will need to be punctual a willingness to work and above all, trustworthy. Full training will be given.

Practically minded
Knowledge and use of tools
Good IT skills
Able to work in a small team
Full clean driving licence – Desirable

Working pattern:
25 hours+. Schedule to be confirmed with candidate
Based on Monday – Friday working week with occasional weekend work.

Hourly rate of pay:
National Minimum Wage
