Job description:
Deliver excellent customer experience by providing a welcoming, professional approach and demonstrating product knowledge. Provide assistance advice on products choices to best suit customer requirements
• ensure that all activities are undertaken in line with health and safety at work regulations
• assist customers as necessary to identify their purchasing requirement and assist in locating desired items
• provide solutions on replies to address customer’ problems or inquires
• monitor displayed products to ensuring timely replenishment of products on shelves
• over see the general cleanliness and safe layout of the shop
• collect cash payments and process credit card transactions for the purchase of good using EPOSNOW
• evaluate stock inventory to determine the need for new shipments or product order
• receive new shipments and ensure proper storage excess stock
• handle cases cases of product return, refund or exchange
• maintain an up to date knowledge of store products and services in order to effectively conduct sales
• upsell and cross sell in order to increase sales and maximize company profits
• work closely with the business owners to ensure sales targets are achieved
• maintain confidentiality of all company related information in line with data protection regulations
• assist the owners with other duties as required in line with the responsibilities of the role

Essential skills and requirements:
good communication skills
ability to speak to all ages

Working pattern:
25hours. Hours will be during opening hours. Opening hours 9 to 5 Monday to Saturday, Sunday 11 to 4

Hourly rate of pay:
National Minimum Wage
