As a Kitchen assistant you will be working in close contact and under the guidance of the kitchen supervisor/head chef. Your job is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational. You may also be involved in prep work and organising food orders.
– Ensuring all kitchen area especially food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
– Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients.
– Washing, peeling, preparing foodstuffs.
– Disposing of rubbish.
– Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately.
Kitchen assistants must posses the ability to work flexibly as part of a team, previous experience is desirable but is not essential, and a uniform will be provided for.
You will also be required to understand and apply the Health and Safety procedures relevant to the job, such as safe use of machinery, COSHH, first aid and hygiene practice.
Training will be provided.

25 hours. Weekdays:
4:00PM – 10:00PM
4:00PM – 10:30PM / 11:00PM
