Job description:
Will be taught how to maintain kitchen hygiene, knife skills, safety in the kitchen environment, basic food preparation i.e. biscuits, cakes, breads, marmalades, jams, lemon curds, preparation of sandwiches, salads, starters. Vegetable preparation, ice cream and sorbet making. Also learn about service of prepared food to catering standards.

Essential skills and requirements:
Some basic catering experience may be useful but not essential.

Working pattern:
30 hours. Shifts are usually between 11am to 3pm and 6.30pm to 9.30pm, 5 days per week. Weekends will be a requirement.

National Minimum Wage
