The Role
The HR and Business Consulting Trainee Administrator will support the business consulting team at RfM in providing an efficient and streamlined service to the business and our clients.

This role has a wide remit which includes input to all HR and business consulting administration and is an important support role to the business. Effective administrative support is vital to the smooth running of our business.

There is an opportunity to move over to apprenticeship once the placement period is complete.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support (including, but not limited to, processing paperwork, filing, dealing with mail, checking invoices, creating reports, gathering information, ordering IT equipment, making bookings, arranging meetings for all elements of our people and business consulting processes. This will include, but is not exhaustive to:

• Booking appointments with clients on site and virtual
• Receiving and making phone calls
• Email management
• Proof reading and editing reports and presentations
• HR administration for some clients
• Creation of employment contracts and handbooks (following templates)
• Client file and database management (online platforms)
• General administrative support to business consulting team
• Basic administration of systems
• Creation of client contracts (following templates)
• Creation of online social media posts

Key measures & targets:
Following all HR and Business procedures and carrying out duties as directed by your line manager

• RfM HR and Business Consulting Team
• RfM HR and Business Consulting Clients

Essential skills and requirements:
The successful candidate is likely to meet all the following criteria:

Essential

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C or equivalent
• The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and in all circumstances
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work alone without constant direction
• Excellent eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to prioritise workload and consistently meet deadlines
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite
• Possession of a confident but helpful manner

Desirable
• Administration experience in an office environment

Working pattern:
25 hours. To be confirmed according to the particular circumstances of the successful candidate. Ideally, we would want candidate to work 5 hours each day Monday to Friday.

National Minimum Wage
