Job description:
To diligently learn and understand the day to day role of a Tackler in an efficient, safe and productive manner. This will include ensuring the safe and prompt set up of looms and successfully maintaining the looms. Working on Dornier Weaving looms, the training will include fault finding & rectifying of faults. You will be working in a small team, producing high end designer fabric.

You will need…
• Good eyesight, with or without visual aids.
• Manual dexterity skills.
• A good level of physical fitness, as the role will involve lifting & standing for long periods.
• An interest in mechanics & an inquisitive mind would be an advantage.
• An eye for detail; to be quality conscious.

Essential skills and requirements:
Essential: Pass eyesight colour deficiency test.
Experience: No, full training given.
Qualifications: GCSE, (grade 4 or above) in Maths & English Language.

Working pattern:
39 hours. MON-THURS = 07:30-16:30 (INCLUDING 00:30MINS UNPAID LUNCH, AND 2×00:15MINS PAID BREAKS)
FRI = 07:30-12:30

National Minimum Wage
