Job purpose
• Lakeland Arts is looking for a creative, friendly, and enthusiastic individual who is interested in working in a museum and art gallery environment.
• As the Participation and Learning Assistant you will be supporting the Participation and Learning team with the development, preparation and delivery of projects and workshops with communities, families, and schools.
• In this role you will have opportunities to develop creative, administrative, and technical skills.

Responsibilities
• Become a key part of the Participation and Learning team, supporting them in key projects throughout the scheme.
• Assisting in the delivery and development of sessions for families, young people, and community groups.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety and safeguarding regulations.
• Participating in Lakeland Arts’ activities as requested, such as public events and workshops onsite and offsite.
• Participating fully in the training activities for the scheme.

Working pattern:
25 hours over 7 days, we are open 7 days per week so the candidate will need to be available over some weekends

Hourly rate of pay:
National Minimum Wage
