DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR
(KICKSTART PLACEMENT)
This is a new post in Inspira. Due to Covid-19, we are working more digitally with all our customers. This therefore requires us to have more regular digital content for our website, online training opportunities and virtual events. We hope if this Kickstart placement proves successful and suitable content is generated for promotion and events it will lead to a full-time job.

This job description is not permanent and exhaustive, but rather acts as a guide for the main duties, tasks, and areas of responsibility for which the post holder is accountable.

The business will develop and change and as a result the post holder’s obligation may vary and develop to meet business need. The post holder will be required to perform other duties assigned which will be reasonable and in relation to the individual’s skills, abilities, and role.

Description of Work
To create engaging and relevant digital content to tell the story of the organisation, the people we support and the employers and partners we work with. This will include interviewing customers, businesses and colleagues, writing case studies and making short videos.

Content Creators will also update existing material, generate creative and innovative work, and identify new ways to reach consumers.

Typical work tasks
• Filming and editing short video content including taking an idea and turning it into a video story.
• Interviewing individuals to get the best case studies and stories.
• Development of ideas for case studies and positive news stories showcasing good practice and successful customer outcomes.
• Promotion of company on social media
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with individuals, businesses and colleagues
• Support and comply with quality systems
• Ensure appropriate confidentiality
• Collect, manage, and share information in accordance with relevant Data Protection legislation and procedures.

Essential skills and requirements:
• GCSE C (4/5) or above in Maths and English
• Production/ editing film and video clips
• Creating engaging content
• Marketing and promotion
• Use of social media including Instagram, Tiktoc, Facebook, Twitter etc.
• IT systems (eg. CRMs, Office 365)
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Good attention to detail
• Good listening skills
• Research and time management

• Willingness to learn
• This role will involve travel to be able to interview and film at various locations therefore a driving license and use of a car would be advantageous.

Working pattern:
37 hours. Monday – Friday
(flexibility to suit the needs of the business)

Hourly rate of pay:
National Minimum Wage
