Job description:
The main purpose of this role is to investigate drainage problems, carry out unblocking/jetting services, CCTV drain surveys, drain excavation, preparation & installation of septic tanks.
Recommend and carry out repair works to existing and new customers in line with company guidelines.
Record work activities performed and document work hours & activities on daily call sheet.
Inspect premises to identify drainage problems and carry our remedial unblocking.
Inspect buildings for above and below ground drainage problems.
Carry out CCTV drainage survey, record and log findings.
Assess and locate drainage faults, provide recommendations for repair, and estimate cost for service
Clean work site after completion of job.
Drive van equipped with drain jetter, cctv camera and tools, full clean UK driving licence required.

Essential skills and requirements:
Personality and desire to learn most important. The ideal candidate will have a full clean UK drivers licence (flexible), General building & minor sewage works experience desirable but not essential and be confident or keen to learn to drive light machinery and live in Kendal or the surrounding area.

Working pattern:
40 hr. 8.30am -5pm Monday to Friday – occasional weekend work.

Hourly rate of pay:
National Minimum Wage
