Job Description
Long Valley Yurts is one of the longest established and largest glamping companies in the UK. They have a number of locations throughout Lake District and Peak District National parks.
They currently have a vacancy and are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our small but expanding team. We currently have a vacancy for a new member of the administration team. The successful candidate will support the existing office manager in the day to day running of Long Valley Yurts. This will include, but is not limited to;
• Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to, mailing and filing correspondence, placing orders, and answering calls
• Interacts with clients, customers, and vendors
• Arranges meetings by reserving rooms and managing refreshments
• Types correspondence, meeting notes, and forms among other documents
• Photocopies, scans, and files appropriate documents
• Edits documents, advertising and online platforms for accuracy
• Assists with organising events when necessary
• Conducts research and compiles data
• Signs for delivered packages and distributes them to the appropriate recipient
• Interacts with directors when necessary
• Assists in setting up new client accounts
• Maintains stock of supplies by anticipating work requirements, ordering supplies, and distributing supplies where necessary
• Answers customer questions and confirms customer bookings
• Engages in educational opportunities as needed
• Performs additional duties when required, including drafting brochures and organising the filing system
• Organise office and assist associates in ways that optimise procedures.
• Assist with research and development on new projects for the company
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their approach to work and be happy working as part of a small team. As we are a small team our work can change. The candidate will be based at our offices in Kendal, Cumbria. The candidate will need to be punctual, a willingness to work and above all, trustworthy. Full training will be given.

Self-driven, highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, good typing and organisation skills
Ability to time manage effectively including working to set deadlines.

Working pattern:
25 hours+. Schedule to be confirmed with candidate
Based on Monday – Friday working week

Hourly rate of pay:
National Minimum Wage
