Chamber members offered 6 month’s FREE listing on new Made in Cumbria website
by Joe Sanders
Made in Cumbria is a Cumbria Chamber of Commerce service with the aim of promoting our members who manufacture, make, design and sell products in Cumbria.
For consumers within Cumbria and beyond, our new Made in Cumbria website, social media and other online channels bring all of Cumbria’s creative industries together into one central hub making it easy for people to discover the finest products the region has to offer.
The new website can be viewed here: www.madeincumbria.co.uk
Some of the businesses already listed on the website include Grasmere Gingerbread whose famous cross between a biscuit and cake is enjoyed by customers across the world, Linton Tweeds who have been producing fabrics of the highest quality for fashion houses around the world for more than 100 years, Ennerdale Brewery who brew cask and bottled ales using traditional methods and recipes that appeal to modern tastes, and Lauren’s Cows who sell top quality art and homeware featuring the iconic cow portraits of Lauren Terry.
Businesses listed on the website will be given their own profile similar to those linked above, which will be connected to their own website and social media.
They’ll also be featured across our other Made in Cumbria communications channels including on Twitter, Instagram & Facebook (with over 13,000 followers combined), in content pieces on the website, and in marketing emails. Paid promotion including display ads and Google ads are also used to market the website. Once a year you’ll get an annual report showing website traffic to your listing.
To celebrate the relaunch of Made in Cumbria, we’re offering Chamber members 6 months’ FREE listing! Afterwards, the cost is £100 + VAT per year. Income generated from the listing fees will be reinvested into the promotion of the website. To get started contact Derek Armstrong via derek@cumbriachamber.co.uk.
