Networking with the Chamber

After almost 2 years out of face-to-face events, Cumbria Chamber is so pleased to finally be back out there meeting its members and local businesses at some of our in-person events.

Although Covid-19 dependent, we’ve now got face-to-face events back up and running, and whether you’re a Chamber member or not, we don’t want you to miss out!

First off on Thursday, 11th November, we’re holding Business Bites – an after-work networking event held this time at Barton’s Yard, The Halston in Carlisle. Nibbles and canapes will be provided. Chamber members can attend for free, non-members just £10+VAT. Find out more here.

Then, on Wednesday, 17th November, we’re holding the first Northern Strategic Employers Group which invites large employees in Carlisle and Eden to discuss issues, challenges and opportunities and share intelligence with other businesses and relevant organisations (such as local authorities) in a relaxed and confidential environment. The first meeting will discuss the borderlands initiative. Find out more here.

Monday, 22nd November will see our second Directors Club Monday Night Business Talks dinner at North Lakes Hotel & Spa which brings together directors and senior leaders across the county to discuss relevant business topics, this time the discussion will be ‘Going Green: What does it mean?’. You must be a Directors Club member to attend this event. Find out more here.

The final event we’re holding this year will be our Cumbria Chamber Christmas lunch and networking. On Friday, 3rd December at Castle Green Hotel in Kendal we’re inviting businesses from across the county to join us for a festive lunch and networking event, as well as a local Christmas market. More information can be found here. The Christmas lunch is £25+VAT for Cumbria Chamber members or £35+VAT for non-members. Places can be booked here.

We are planning some events in the South of the county, so please keep your eyes peeled for those events coming through!
