Chamber call for business leaders feedback over new Lake District plan

Cumbria Chamber of Commerce is inviting businesses to join staff for an intimate round the table discussion next month and discuss the proposed Lake District National Park Partnership’s Management Plan 2020-25.

With a number of interesting proposals and challenges currently being discussed, including how to meet the objective of achieving net zero by 2030 as part of its carbon neutral plan, we would like to garner from business leaders their opinions, perspective challenges and general feedback.

Cumbria Chamber of Commerce is one of is one of 25 organisations involved in the LDNPP (Lake District National Park Partnership).

Other topics we’ll be looking to discuss with our members is a potential road charge for the national park, increasing opportunities for and use of sustainable and active travel, as well as using new technology and digital connectivity to create a more conducive economic environment.

The discussion is on Thursday, 3rd June, 1-2pm, and is open exclusively to Cumbria Chamber members. Please email me to register for the discussion.
