International Women’s Day – The Best (and Worst) Business Advice

Can you remember a standout piece of advice you’ve been given in your career?

To celebrate International Women’s Day on Monday 8th March, Cumbria Chamber of Commerce are hosting a live panel discussion with 5 businesswomen in leading roles across the county.

The session will ask the women to discuss advice they’ve been given throughout their careers, both good and bad!

It’s been 110 years since International Women’s Day was first celebrated – a day to recognise the economic, social and political achievements of women across the globe.

We’re fortunate to have many incredible women in significant roles who are making a positive impact on the business community in Cumbria. Some have started their own businesses, some run large organisations and some are moulding a successful career in areas which were previously dominated by men.

Panellists include:

Join us for a 90 minute live panel 10-11.30am. There’ll also be a 30 minute Q&A to give you a chance to pose questions to the panel.

This event is FREE to both Chamber members and non-members. All are welcome.
