Keeping Your Business Up to Date
The last 12 months has seen unprecedented challenges for all employers. However, contracts of employment often stand still as the needs of the organisation change and rigid and poorly drafted contracts often make change, efficiency and flexibility harder to achieve.
This makes it difficult to ensure that your staffing arrangements are properly aligned with your organisation’s priorities. It may also mean that your contracts are not legally compliant.
This training will show you that your contracts of employment can, by effective and straightforward means, be varied to ensure that they match the current needs of your organisation and allow your organisation to be best placed to adapt to future challenges. Making changes to achieve these objectives is much easier than you think
This practical, down to earth and “can do” training will:
- Explain the difference between contracts and staff policies;
- Identify what key clauses you should have in your employment contracts (including covering the legal changes that came in in April 2020);
- Provide useful sample clauses for inclusion in your contracts of employment;
- Go through a step by step practical method to allow you to vary your contracts of employment with the minimum of fuss;
- Take you through a formal procedure that allows an employer to impose contractual changes – if this proves necessary;
- Give you the tools to vary contracts of employment to match your business needs;
In essence, the training is about helping you to get the best out of your staff with the minimum of risk, hassle and cost.
Who will Benefit from the Training?
The training is aimed at anyone who manages staff including business owners, managers, supervisors and HR teams and will give you the practical guidance and the confidence to tackle the processes described above.
