All exports (and imports) require documentation, along with accurate information concerning the export/import consignment. This course is an introduction to the documents required for exporting and importing. It is designed for Export and Import Staff involved in the administration of Export and Import Issues, and covers all aspects of dealing with export documentation. It deals with UK export and import procedures, and highlights documentary requirements, as well as compliance with Customs requirements. Given the various inferences of the INCOTERMS as well as post-Brexit Customs regulations, it is an ideal opportunity for the exporter and importer to ensure that they are kept up-to-date with these radical and far-reaching changes, as well as understanding the overall importance of documentation in the export and import process. Sample documents are provided within the slides as part of the course, enabling the trader to understand the importance of using the correct information, as well as how the documents are to be completed.
