3-hour ‘Flash’ Workshop- You can talk the talk, but can you…?
Are you REALLY happy with your current revenue?
No one likes prospecting, it’s hard and it can be demotivating. You might think it’s not your job, it’s for marketing, the office junior, or for telesales. But realistically, it’s at the core of what we do and one of the most important functions of a business.
Prospecting for new business and new customers has never been so important, or more difficult! In the future we may need to live our personal lives differently with social distancing, face masks even potential COVID negative travel passes or certificates. If this is the case, we’ll also need to learn how to do business differently. We might not be desk bound full time, but we will need to pick the phone up and speak to potential customers more.
All the best salespeople prospect, whether it’s through social networks, email, telephone or through existing customers.
Join Cumbria Chamber of Commerce alongside Ian Loftus of Wessgate Financial Services for this 3-hour workshop, ‘Online Sales Training – Prospecting in a Post-Covid World’, on Thursday, 8th April, 10am-1.30pm. The session is about going back to basics giving you the best opportunity to get in front of the right person and to start winning new business.
This session will focus on telephone prospecting as part of your new customer acquisition strategy and will include:
- Why prospecting matters in a post-Covid world
- Lead generation – cold, warm or hot?
- Why research matters and the 12 places to research buyers before you make the call
- Identifying your ideal customer
- Creating a script with templates to get you started
- Setting prospecting goals and what you need to do to achieve them
- The right mental attitude
- Making the call!
