Teamworking has changed.
Our businesses have previously seen us invent management approaches that increased our production, efficiently and reliability. Now, we’re faced with more turbulence and uncertainty. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed how most businesses and individuals work.
As well as the pandemic, sustainability, digitisation and changing demographics are challenging societies and we’re now finding ways to respond to these rapidly changing conditions.
Within these everchanging environments, results are dependent upon collaboration and teamwork, and the previous organisation systems used will not succeed in the current climate. Businesses in which people come together to collaborate and adapt, will overcome the complex new challenges.
As you’ll know, more teams nowadays are made up of people working remotely. If you’re faced with challenges of leading teams remotely, then join Cumbria Chamber of Commerce for a free members’ webinar, with Andy James of Performance Development Consulting on Thursday, 22nd April 9.30-10.30am.
This 45-minute webinar begins to explore what’s needed to lead remote teams effectively, by considering what we mean by leadership in this context. A quick Google search will generate a huge list of ‘top tips’, and ‘the 7 ways to…’. Rather than focusing purely on the leader and their capabilities, this session will cover –
- How the whole system in a team is involved in making leadership happen.
- A definition of leadership associated with the interactions among people in a team.
- How you can tell if leadership is happening in the team.
This workshop is free for Chamber members, or £10+VAT for non-members. To book your place(s) please – BOOK HERE.
This free webinar will introduce further training:
- How to develop leadership that makes it possible for people to work together willingly and effectively.
This training will be delivered in a ‘3:3:3’ format – 3 interactive modules, each of 3 hours, over a 3-week period. You can find out more about this training here.
