Ignorance of Customs practices is no excuse. In line with global changes in Customs practices, the exit of the UK from the EU Single Market and an increase in areas such as electronic procedures, compliance and Customs risk, all importers and exporters must be aware of Customs practices and requirements, and must ensure that their staff are fully trained and knowledgeable in these areas.
Join Cumbria Chamber of Commerce and Mark Rowbotham of Portcullis ISC, on the 12th November 10am to 1pm for this live online training session, designed to acquaint staff involved in import and/or export activities with basic Customs Duty and VAT management, as well as the changes to UK Customs & VAT management following the exit of the UK from the EU Single market at the end of 2021, as well as the requirements of the WCO SAFE Framework and the WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement.
