Are you (or your staff) new to role of sales, looking for a step by step problem-solving approach and process to fulfilling your customer’s needs in a value-added manner?

Join Cumbria Chamber of Commerce and Rafe Parker for this two days hands on workshop focused on increasing your sales and profitability by giving you new skills and techniques for every customer interaction.

4th and 5th September, 10am to 4pm, Newton Rigg Conference Centre, Penrith.


‘Achieve’ is an introduction to sales, for those who have little to no sales experience.

Relevant for any business sector, Rafe will work with you on this comprehensive introduction to successful selling, following a staged customer-focused process which will result an immediate increase of sales within your business.

You will learn:

  • How to make a first approach to a prospective customer
  • Understanding your customer and using best-practice techniques to extract the information you need to create a sale
  • Confidently presenting to your customer to ensure they buy
  • Consistently negotiating the best deal for your company and the customer
  • Next steps following the sale to ensure you gain future sales from the customer

You will also gain the opportunity to put the learning into practice enabling you to gain the confidence to get straight out in the market place.

Rafe has spent more than 20 years delivering sales across multiple products and industries. His success in developing large scale orders in the entertainment sector saw him become a Managing Director at twenty five. From there he moved to the commercial radio market where his ability to drive sales through creativity led to him delivering increased profitability during the financial crisis, when the majority of advertising business were struggling. His sales team also won ‘Sales Team of the Year’ following the period.

Following him gaining a Business Masters degree in 2012, Rafe joined one of the world’s largest private companies, in the vehicle hire and leasing sector, where he was responsible for all elements of business performance. He went on to deliver record growth and sales performance in his region and was instrumental in the promotions of countless employees.

Rafe now works with companies and individuals who are starting out in sales to give them the tools and processes they require to understand how to maximise their sales performance. He also negotiates sales deals for the UK’s largest vape and e-cigarette company.

The delegate rate for this two day workshop is £190 +VAT members / £290 +VAT non-members.
